From Bari to Matera, the train is run by Ferrovie Appulo Lucane. There are two convenient stops for the centre, and to reach us it is best to get off at the last one.

Matera Sud is the end of the line. If your train goes that far, Profumi di Primavera is about 550 metres away, a seven-minute walk: take Via delle Tamerici, then Via Pasquale Vena, which comes out on Via Lucana a few steps from number 185.

Matera Centrale is the Piazza Matteotti stop. From here the route is about one kilometre, a quarter of an hour on foot through the centre. With luggage a taxi is the better choice: it only takes a few minutes.
