Our Services

Excellence and Comfort in the Heart of Matera

Staying at Profumi di Primavera means living in a place where contemporary design, craftsmanship and Lucanian hospitality come together in a coherent experience. Every service is designed to give you back the time and freedom to enjoy Matera at your own pace.

Strategic Location: A Step from the Sassi

The property stands at number 185 Via Lucana, the main thoroughfare of the historic centre. From here, the city opens up in every direction with no need for transport.

Just fifty metres away, Piazzetta Pascoli offers Matera’s most famous viewpoint: a natural belvedere that embraces the Sassi Caveoso and Barisano as far as the expanse of the Murgia. The main historic sights, the rock churches, the restaurants and the artisan workshops of the centre are all a few minutes’ walk away.

The location lets you plan your days with maximum flexibility: head out for a morning exploration, come back for a moment of relaxation, then set off again for an evening stroll along the illuminated Sassi.

The Lucanian Brunch

The day begins in the property’s own café, a dedicated lounge where breakfast becomes an introduction to the flavours of the region.

Homemade tarts in several varieties, cakes baked daily with fresh, wholesome ingredients, seasonal fresh juices. And above all Pane di Matera, made with grains grown on the hills around Matera according to a tradition that has earned PGI recognition, served with typical specialities of Lucanian cuisine.

Not just a simple breakfast, but a gastronomic experience that anticipates the discovery of the region and carries you through the day with the energy of Basilicata’s wholesome produce.

Relaxation and Sensory Wellbeing

Each room is conceived as a refuge of design and comfort, a space to recharge after a day of exploring.

  • Emotional showers: All rooms have an open-plan bathroom with a separate shower room, equipped with an emotional shower and chromotherapy. A multisensory experience that turns an everyday gesture into a moment of true wellbeing.
  • Suite Fior di Melograno: For those seeking the highest level of comfort, the ground-floor suite offers a tufa vault almost six metres high, a trompe-l’oeil depicting Matera on the front wall, a Jacuzzi whirlpool bath and a wellness emotional shower with chromotherapy and light effects.
  • Panoramic Terrace: On the upper floor, the property’s private terrace opens onto views of the Cathedral bell towers, the rooftops of the historic centre and glimpses whose character changes with the light. The ideal place for a glass of wine at the end of the day.
