Fifty metres away, Piazzetta Pascoli opens onto the most iconic view in Italy: the Sassi Caveoso and Barisano and the Murgia, a landscape that UNESCO has recognised as a World Heritage Site.

Each room holds an original floral artwork, created exclusively by a Lucanian artist, telling the story of the flowers and scents of the Murgia around Matera.
